Unemployment has dropped and the dollar has strengthened. Due to the definite improvement in the economy and continued growth, business legislation is reviewed and revised to maintain the diversity that has enabled this growth and prosperity.
New Zealand government recognises that small and medium businesses have an integral position in the economy and provide continued employment and are at the forefront of maintaining a healthy and competitive position in the international marketplace.
